Prakash heads the crystallography group at CHARM. He was previously at Sosei Heptares, elucidating structures of GPCRs using crystallography and establishing data processing pipelines.
Prior to this he held a Junior Group Leader role at the CNRS investigating enzyme kinetics and structures of the ubiquitin E2 enzyme Ube2z, and a post-doctoral position at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, characterising nAChR-ligand interactions using structural and biophysical methods.
He obtained his Ph.D. in structural biochemistry from the University of Lille, working on the switch to virulence in B. pertussis.
