Associate Principal Scientist, Cancer Biology

Amanda joins CHARM with her expertise in pharmacology and passion for multi-disciplinary drug discovery. After completing her PhD in G protein-coupled receptors at the University of Cambridge, Amanda carried out her post-doctoral studies at AstraZeneca, utilising experimental data in protein modelling to facilitate ligand design. Most recently she was part of the first cohort of hires at MSD-UK, establishing new pharmacology labs to deliver assay development, high-throughput screening, and target validation to support their growing pipeline. She is driven by data and is excited by the potential at CHARM to revolutionise how we use data to design drugs for undruggable targets.
